 A Message from your Teacher

Dear Parents,

Thank you so much for choosing Charleston SDA School for your child's education. I take very seriously that you entrust me with your child. I look forward to a good working relationship. I want you always to feel welcome to make suggestions that would improve the quality of our program. My goal is for every child to feel safe, loved, and successful.

The first day of school will be August 20, 2014. Our overall classroom theme this year is "Up, Up, and Away". The major themes will be The Five Senses, Birds, Weather, Space, and Butterflies, as well as Seasons and Holidays. The details will be sent home before each unit starts.

Here you will find the information pages for Grades K-2. They are:

We are always in need of cleaning supplies as well as boxes of tissues.  Please try to add these to your supply list for school.

Enjoy the rest of your summer and try to stay cool.

Fondly,
Donna Caswell

P.S. If you are a returning student, remember to bring your Bible back to school.  If you are new, part of the fees for registration includes $10.00 for a Bible.  I will need for you to come to school and sign the Bible as well as write a personal message.  I always say that the Bible is a gift from your parents as well as a love letter from God that we study at school.
